Chief Executive Officer and Principal of Skillset Senior College, Craig Randazzo, was glowing with pride after Skillset were awarded the Defence Reserve Support Council Central West – Employer Support Award at this year’s business awards.

“It recognises the kind of workplace and business we are. We value people and are committed to supporting their well being and personal achievement,” he said.

Established in 1982 with the specific aim of helping local industry meet their skills needs in a cost-effective way, Skillset have just celebrated their 35th anniversary.

In 2015 they opened the Skillset Senior College which provides an alternative education pathway for years 10 to 12 and have just experienced the thrill of their first Year 12 cohort completing their studies.

Skillset is a unique organisation and as the largest employer of apprentices and trainees in regional NSW, delivers an individual suite of services that helps to prepare young people to go out into the world of employment.
