Around 45 gymnasts from PCYC Bathurst went to the event and against the rest of the state showed how far they had come over the season.
Head coach Mel Proust said the club is already looking forward to what the 2018 edition will bring.
“We went up against all the rest of PCYCs in NSW and we took our largest squad to date,” she said.
“That wasn’t even our whole squad. Next year is going to be absolutely massive.”

Proust said it was a joy to watch the sizeable Bathurst group end their season on a high note.
“For Hayley Andrews, Isobel Kerlin, Summer Beckmann and Olivia Clemens this was only their third competition and they all moved from bronze to silver and gold banding,” she said.
“They improved their marks by almost four and five points.
“It’s nice to see what the other PCYCs in the state are doing and it’s nice to know that we can hold our own and that we’re up towards the top.
“We’re in off-season now, which is exciting. We’re learning a lot of fun skills and then we’ll get back into competition season starting again next April.”
