To be held April 20-22, it will again form part of the UCI (Union Cycliste International) Gran Fondo World Series.
The Classic’s line-up will include a range of events, including the 70 and 110 kilometre Blayney 2 Bathurst (B2B) on Sunday, April 22.
The 110km event will be one of two qualifying rounds to be held in Australia.
The UCI event is a high-level competition for masters and amateurs, but also aims to support the idea of cycling for everyone.
Bathurst Cycling Club’s Stephen Jackson said the Classic was a huge opportunity for Bathurst.
“It’s put us on the map and makes use of the great facilities that Bathurst offers for locals and national riders across all cycling disciplines,” he said.

Bathurst Regional Council mayor Graeme Hanger said the B2B was the jewel of the Bathurst Cycling Classic program and it was a unique experience for local and visiting riders.
“The course winds its way through the central NSW countryside before finishing at the iconic Mount Panorama,” he said.
Other events include: the Family Fun Friday (April 20), Hill Climb Saturday (April 21) and the Criterium Racing Saturday (April 21).
More than 2000 riders participated in the B2B in 2017 and the top 25 per cent in each age group from the 110km event qualified for the UCI Grand Fondo.
