A 43-year-old man was airlifted to Orange Base Hospital with chest injuries and a fractured leg after falling from a cherry picker on Thursday.

The incident occurred on Bennett Springs Road, Hovells Creek, near Cowra.
NSW Ambulance received a triple 000 call just before midday saying the man had fallen from the cherry picker into a tree.
Inspector Rhys Dive, with NSW Ambulance, said the man was working upgrading a causeway when the incident occurred.
