There are many artistic and clever people residing in the Bathurst Regional Council area. Why not announce an open competition and perhaps offer a reward to the winner?
It would be a much better proposition than hiring one person to come up with something at a large cost.
As we know, our area is a Mecca for artists and other creative people.
I think, even a schoolkid could come up with something better than what has been suggested (if you recall, our cinema was named “Metro 5” by a schoolkid).
Sane action is needed here.
