Transport for NSW representatives will be at the Millthorpe Corner Store from 4pm-6pm to hear community input and answer questions regarding the re-opening.
A Transport for NSW statement said last month’s announcement that the station would be opened for stop-on-demand passengers in early 2019 had been welcomed by the community.
“With Transport for NSW starting work to reinstate Millthorpe as a stop for XPT services, they are undertaking the consultation process with the village’s community to develop a plan that maintains the look and feel of the location, while improving access to transport services,” it said.
“This is a complex site.”
