Held on the weekend, 260 people registered to take part in the two-day event with 212 carp, weighing a total of 590 kilograms, pulled from the Turon River.
Organiser Colin Gordon said many anglers walked long distances to bring back their fish for the weigh in.
“Fly fishing specialist Peter Lister again caught the biggest carp weighing 6.76 kilos and Molly Osborne held on to win the ladies with her best at 4.57 kilos,” he said.
Mr Gordon said the first angler to weigh in was 14-year-old Sara Lane who brought in two fish to the scales.
Following Saturday’s rainy weather, a clear Sunday saw people continue their luck.
Dusty Squibb was the eventual winner of the biggest bag for juniors, he also out-fished his father Jim, with 13 carp. His best fish weighed 5.14kg.
Mr Gordon said there were some impressive catches by the juniors, with six-year-old Jack Hall topping the list with a 6.17kg fish, while five-year-old Payton Edwards caught a 4.95kg carp.
“Jason Stapleton had the scales running hot when he emptied 27 carp from his esky to win the biggest bag and Keira Roach won the biggest bag for ladies on a count of her catch weighing heaviest,” he said.
The biggest redfin went to seven-year-old Jed Moore, while seven-year-old Jessie Meekin’s 3.28kg carp was closest to the secret weight selected of 3.3kgs.
