Nominations for the Jo Ross Award are now open. The award goes to an individual, group or institution in recognition of ongoing efforts to improve the environment. You can complete your nominations online at https://www.greeningbathurst.org.au/jo-ross-award
Help feed those in need by taking part in the Foodbank food drive. Drop off your donations to the Bathurst City Community Club at 29 William Street from Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm until December 17. Your donated products will be used to make up Christmas hampers that will be distributed to members of the community who would normally be forgotten. For more information, call 6331 3187.

Friday, November 24
Shakespeare in the Garden will be performed at Abercrombie House, 311 Ophir Road from November 23-25. Gates will open at 6pm and the play will begin at 7pm. Tickets are available at www.stickytickets.com.au and at Abercrombie House. Call 6331 4929.

There will be an exhibition cricket match of the "Rockley Girls Game" at Rockley Showground (off Budden Street) from 10am-2.30pm (weather permitting). For more information, call 6337 9279.
Council has joined with Special Olympics Australia to bring the Soar and Roar Festival to Bathurst. Luxury car brands and motorbikes from around NSW will make their way to Sydney Motorsport Park to celebrate Special Olympics athletes, their families and support networks and raise much-needed funds for the not-for-profit organisation. If you are a keen motorcyclist, join the Soar and Roar from Mount Panorama to Sydney Motorsport Park and help raise funds for Special Olympics Australia. Registration is $55 per rider.
