POLICE and emergency services remain at the scene of a serious crash between a motor vehicle and a bike near Wattle Flat, 30km from Bathurst.

Emergency services were called to the scene, three kilometres north of Wattle Flat, on the Sofala Road, just after 4pm.
On arrival they commenced treatment on an 80-year-old male who had been riding the bike. His condition is unknown at this stage.
Inspector David Abercrombie, from Chifley Local Area Command said he expected the road would be closed for some time.
RMS Live Traffic reports that motorists can consider using Limekilns Road as an alternative route. It is a suitable route for all vehicles except B-doubles.
