NOMINATIONS are now open for the next round of Bathurst Living Legends.

In 2015 as part of bicentenary celebrations, the first 200 Living Legends were selected.

The title Living Legend recognises the achievements of individuals and the way they have contributed positively to the community.

They could be proven leaders among their peers. They possess a drive to promote the positive qualities of council, the community and local businesses.

An individual will be considered for the Living Legends list if they currently living within the Bathurst Regional Council area and have contributed to making Bathurst a great place to live and visit.

New Living Legends are named as part of each year’s Proclamation Day celebrations in May.

The nomination process for 2018 is now open with forms available on the Bathurst Regional Council website.

Nominations close Friday, March 15.
