The ceremony was held in the beautiful private garden of ‘Cambewarra’.
Three people, Spencer Harvey OAM, Margaret Fletcher and Derek Fletcher, were honoured by the National Trust and presented with medals and certificates.
Mr Harvey was awarded the Meritorious Service Award for his dedication to Miss Traill’s House over many years.
Ms Fletcher, who has served as a volunteer house guide and guide mentor for 20 years, was presented with the Voluntary Service Award.
For his work as an education guide for 20 years, Mr Fletcher received the Trust Commendation Award.
The award ceremony also saw 12 members of the Central West Women’s Committee presented with appreciation certificates for their contributions to Miss Traill’s House.
The recipients were Rose Bolam, Wendy MacPhillamy, Maureen Pike, Cathie Rich, Jan Robinson, Susan Solling, Margaret Suttor, Janet Thompson, Mary Warren, Jennifer Wass, Judy Webb and Sally Wickham.
Volunteers also acknowledged the work of Beryl Harvey with a presentation of flowers, as she will retire from her role as a house guide after 17 years.
