Bathurst Regional Art Gallery will officially open three exhibitions: Montages: The Full Cut, 1999-2015 Tracey Moffatt and Gary Hillberg; James Capper: Mark Maker and [un]packed: from the permanent collection. Formalities will start at 6pm at BRAG.
There are some public programs happening as well. On Friday at 5pm, Gary Hillberg will be discussing themes within the Montages: The Full Cut exhibition and his long-time collaboration with Tracey Moffatt, to be followed by a Q and A with the audience. This Saturday, December 9 at 11am, join artist James Capper for a demonstration of his machines followed by a conversation with James and curator Edward Campbell.

Sunday, December 10
Come and join in the Christmas celebrations as Bathurst's largest and longest-running community Christmas event takes place in Machattie Park. Pack a picnic dinner to share with family and friends as you listen to the sounds of Christmas as played by the Bathurst City and RSL Concert Band and special guests. Santa has promised to make an appearance, so better be on your best behaviour. This year you won't miss a moment of the concert, with big screens in place to allow you to really be a part of this special night. The celebrations will begin at 7pm.
