Santa was greeted by hundreds of children who were all keen to say hello.
Santa’s visit was organised by Bathurst Regional Council due to the rained-out Christmas Picnic in the Parade event which was supposed to be held on Saturday, December 2.
The inaugural event was organised by council’s events team and was due to feature free entertainment, live music and a host of stalls in Kings Parade.
But due to ongoing rain across the day it was cancelled.
