Harvest Cafe & Store opened on Kendall Avenue recently and it is located next door to the Bathurst Visitor Information Centre.
Cafe director and chef, Chris Ringrose, has long been involved in hospitality and said he was enjoying the challenge of running the new eatery.
“Our main aim is to focus on good regional produce, as well as having seasonal menu and showcasing what Bathurst and the Central West have at our doorstep,” he said.
“We’ve created a place where we can offer all our produce.”
Mr Ringrose said Harvest Cafe & Store may be located next door to the Bathurst Visitor Information Centre, but during its month of operations it had also been attracting many locals.
“It’s a cafe for everyone, whether it be locals from five minutes away to people travelling from 5000 kilometres away,” he said.
“It’s a place where everyone can come and see what we offer.
“We’re starting to get a lot of regulars and making a good rapport with them.”
With four chefs in the kitchen, and a total of 12 staff, Mr Ringrose said it had been a busy cafe since it first opened its doors.
