Last week, it was announced that eight of the revamped sites would be open in NSW, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia by the end of the year.
Home Consortium announced at the same time that a further 30 stores would be opened in 2018.
When contacted by the Western Advocate, a spokesperson for Home Consortium couldn't provide a timeline for when the retail hub would open in Kelso, said that plans were progressing.
"We are in advanced discussions with a number of retailers that will be anchor tenants for the site," they said.
"We will need to finalise those discussions and underlying leases before we can announce our plans.
"Kelso is a very large site and we are still interested to understand where any further demand stands in relation to the site from both local and national retailers."
Bathurst Regional Council approved plans to redevelop the former Masters site in February, 2017.
Those plans stated there would be nine bulky goods stores and a small cafe.
The statement of environmental effects (SEE) lodged with council showed store sizes within the proposed redevelopment of the Pat O’Leary Drive complex would range from 246 square metres to almost 2500 square metres.
All the new stores would be housed within the massive 11,355 square metre Masters shell, with the developers also planning to enclose an existing garden centre at the northern end of the building.
There is no indication of which retailers might set up shop in the development, however Home Consortium's associated retailers include some major names.
Among the retailers that have appeared at other stores are Amart Furniture, Anaconda, Chemist Warehouse, Nick Scali and Toys 'R' Us.
