Georgia Flude, Lewis Wilde and Emelia Inwood were among 26 students at the school to take their exams across a broad range of subjects.
Overall, five Scots students received a Band 6 [mark between 90 and 100] result – Aiden Telfser in biology; Hayden Leopold in Mathematics General 2; and Emelia Inwood, Wesley Standfield and Connor Behrendt in agriculture.

Georgia, Lewis and Emelia had registered to receive an early morning text message with their HSC results on Thursday.
“I got a really early text, about 5.30am. It woke me up,” Georgia said. “I was a bit nervous, but the results were what I expected.”
Music was among Georgia’s favourite topics that she studied for the exams.
“I was one point off a Band 6 for music,” she said.
Lewis was also woken by the early morning text message beep on his mobile phone.
“I was a bit nervous, but I got a Band 5 in physics. I’m very happy with that,” he said.
Emelia said nerves were also a factor for her in the lead up to the HSC results being released.
“I was pretty happy and they were what I expected,” she said of the marks she received. “I got a Band 6 in agriculture and I did well in music.”
The three students received an early entry offer to university, which they have all accepted.

Georgia accepted an offer to study occupational therapy at the Australian Catholic University in Sydney, but will take 2018 off to go travelling.
Lewis will commence a degree in town planning at the University of New England in Armidale next year.
Meanwhile, Emelia will undertake a double degree and study Bachelor of Agriculture and Bachelor of Law, also at the University of New England in Armidale.

Until then, they trio said they felt free and excited that their school career was done.
“It’s a bit strange, but working keeps you busy,” Emelia said.
While, Lewis said: “To quote Braveheart, ‘they’ll never take our freedom’.”
Scots School headmaster David Gates met with the trio after they had received their results and praised their efforts.
“There were some very good marks and we’ve been really happy with how the students have performed throughout the year,” he said.
Deputy headmaster Tracey Leaf said this cohort had worked consistently, both individually and as a team to do their best.
“Our students have high expectations of themselves and exhibit this daily in their commitment to their academic and co-curricular activities,” she said.
