In August, 2017, emergency services were kept busy with car crashes, assaults, speeding drivers and a critical incident. A new restaurant opened in the CBD and a peeping Tom was nabbed by police.

August 2: A woman who claimed almost $40,000 in single parenting payments, to which she wasn’t entitled, was convicted and ordered to repay the lot.
