It was the four-year-old brown gelding’s fourth career and a first win since his start in Wagga Wagga on September 22.
Billy Braveheart showed good gate speed in the Col Fletcher Ford Pace (2040 metres) and was three wide in the early stages.
But once he got to the front he never looked back and stuck to his $1.40 favourite tag to take home the comfortable win.
It was Billy Braveheart’s first ever start at Parkes, a debut trip that proved highly successful.
His other two wins have be at Menagle (March 27) and Wagga Wagga (March 17).
Driven by Graham Betts, Limbo Larry ($15.60) finished second for trainer Jed Betts.
Jason Turnbull drove Themightythor ($9.40) to the final podium place for trainer Wendy Turnbull.
