DANI Andres, an accomplished runner and triathlete, will be Bathurst’s Australia Day ambassador at the city’s celebrations.

Although he still competes, Mr Andres runs Pulse Performance in Sydney’s inner west, an organisation that offers customised training to people at every level, and he has helped numerous athletes realise their potential.

He has been to Bathurst several times before for various competitions, including last year’s Blayney to Bathurst.

As the Australia Day ambassador, Mr Andres will be featured at the city’s various celebrations on January 26.

Bathurst has seen ambassadors from different backgrounds in recent years, including the Special Olympics Dancers (2017), Paralympic gold medallist and lawyer Annabelle Williams (2016) and Gold Logie winning actor John Wood (2015).
