If you’ve made a new year’s resolution to try something new in 2018, perhaps you could consider becoming involved with 2MCE.
You might be interested in joining the team of presenters who read for the Talking Newspaper program each weekday or become a music program presenter or even develop a special interest interview based program.
Please contact Michelle on 6338 4774 if you’d like to find out more about the opportunities available to join 2MCE in 2018.
I’d like to thank the 2MCE presenters who continued broadcasting over the Christmas and New Year period.
Many presenters filled extra shifts in addition to their regular programming commitments to ensure all slots were covered.
Have your say
WE love hearing from our audience whether it’s to make a music request, to say you’re enjoying a program or even if it’s to lodge a complaint.
Throughout the year we keep a record of all the calls we receive from our listeners and use this data to gain an understanding of where our audience is listening.
Our record of calls from the past 12 months shows 60 per cent of our audience lives in the Bathurst area, 25 per cent in Orange and surrounds, nine per cent from areas including Oberon, Blayney, Molong, and seven per cent listen online through our streaming service.
You can locate 2MCE on your car, home or shed radio on 92.3 in Bathurst and 94.7 in Orange.
Tune In for the best variety in music, local information, National and local news and local weather.
Great support
WE had great support from local businesses for our annual 2MCE Business Raffle selling all 100 tickets.
The raffle was drawn just prior to Christmas live on air during the morning music program. Terry Fatseas and Jeff Cox drew the winning tickets and Adam Thompson was the scrutineer.
Taking first prize of a 12-month advertising package was Marietta’s Boutique of Bathurst; second (six-month package) was won by Bathurst Recycling while third prize of three months of advertising went to CityFit.
Congratulations to the three winners, and thanks to all those who entered for their support.
Most businesses who entered are eligible for our bonus prize and we’ll be contacting them in the coming weeks.
Congratulations and thanks to Rhonda Hill for coordinating such a successful raffle.
