Though Norris has previously represented NSW in the outdoor version of the game - having done so for three consecutive years - it was on Saturday morning against the ACT he made his indoor debut.
He scored a double in that game, striking at the 18th and 32nd minute marks to help NSW to a 4-0 victory.
Though he did not find in the mark in the 2-all draw against Queensland Spurs, Norris notched up another brace in the 5-1 win over Victoria to round out day one. The talented teenager scored one in either half.
Norris continued his good form Sunday, scoring the opener in NSW's 2-1 win over Queensland Shots. It had him sitting on top of the tournament's leading scorers' table and his state on top of the ladder.
