Bathurst Police urge anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers

A BUS shelter on the Great Western Highway has been left with extensive damage following a vandalism attack.

A Chifley Local Area Command spokesperson has asked anyone in the community who has any information on the attack to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000 or Bathurst Police on 6332 8699.

In the past 12 months in Bathurst there have been 589 malicious damage to property incidents in Bathurst, data from the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOCSAR) reveals.

This is up compared the previous 12 moths were there were 542 cases of malicious damage to property.

The most recent data, to September 2017, details 17 major crime categories across each local government area in NSW.
