The trophy, which has winners from 2004 onwards inscribed on it is full, and the trophy was replaced for the 2017 winner, Matthew Irvine from Panorama Road Safety, when his business was named as the winner.
The Bathurst RSL Club has always been a great supporter of the business awards, there is no better place to display the trophy.
- Angus Edwards - Chamber President
President of the Bathurst Business Chamber, Angus Edwards, said the Bathurst RSL Club has always been a great supporter of the business awards, and he felt there was no better place to display it.
General Manager of the Bathurst RSL Club, Peter Sargent, said the trophy will receive a lot of exposure in its new home.
Mr Sargent said he always thinks of the club as community infrastructure, owned by Bathurst, so it was a logical choice to keep the trophy at the club.
The new trophy has room for the names of 10 winners on each side of the trophy.
