I was depressed even more deeply when I saw Ben Affleck absolutely murder the Batman role in the 2017 film Justice League. The movie was just terrible.

But nothing prepared me for acting Bathurst Regional Council mayor Bobby Bourke coming out in the media last week and full-on unleashing his wrath upon the bats in Machattie Park.

He told the media in the presence of the bats that they had to go.

Clearly outnumbered by the bats, Cr Bourke stood his ground and repeated that they had to go and that the state needed to do something about it

First Bourke attacked the pigeons and now he is after the bats!

But he wants the taxpayers of Bathurst Regional Council and the state to pick the bill up. 

The bats will leave when they are ready, Bob, just leave them alone. 

Cr Bourke has always been a Riddler and a Joker, but from here on in he is now the new Batman.
