The campus has thrown open its doors to the community this week with careers advisers, teachers and student engagement officers on site to help prospective students.
Bathurst college team leader Felicity Baker said there was a range of opportunities for students to study face-to-face, online or a combination of both.
“TAFE NSW students graduate with practical skills and relevant work experience which means they are job ready,” she said.
Ms Baker said it was common for some school leavers to be unsure about what they want to do in the future and she has urged them to come along to the campus this week.
“TAFE NSW has a range of support services available, such as careers advisers and counsellors, to find the right course for you and to discuss the range of scholarships and fee help available,” she said.
“It [open week] lets them know what we’ve got on offer, it’s good at this time of year for school leaves and people who are thinking about studying.”
For those unable to come along to the campus, Ms Baker said TAFE NSW’s live Facebook videos, which will be posted throughout the week, will allow students to explore what study options are available.
Open week continues until Friday with the Bathurst campus open from 8.30am until 5pm daily.
