Two trees, bearing the names of Louis Shehade and Jodie Simson, have had their trunks snapped in places.
The trees are planted next to each other on the Orange side of Bradwardine Road, near the oval.
A spokesperson for Bathurst Regional Council said it couldn’t be determined whether the damage was the result of environmental factors or vandalism.
“One of the trees is able to be salvaged. The other needs to be replaced,” they said.
“Council is in the process of sourcing a replacement tree. The replacement will be planted as soon as the tree is available.”
Council still has to replace the tree named after Jan Hudson, which was damaged in December, 2017.
Mr Shehade and Ms Simson’s trees take the total of damaged Living Legends trees up to nine since they were introduced in 2015.
