The garden hosted its Summer Festival for the second time, giving people the chance to explore exclusive areas that are rarely open to the public.
During the festival period, parts of the Private Garden, such as the croquet court, rose garden and Chinese pagoda, are available to enjoy.
There are also interactive games to play and the chance to row on Mayfield Lake.
As it’s a seasonal garden, the appearance of Mayfield is always changing, and people are encouraged to come out every season to experience it.
The Summer Festival will run until January 28, 2018.
Mayfield is open between 9am and 4.30pm daily, with the last garden entry at 3pm.
