The new dual highway through Kelso is a road I drive on most days of the week and most days I witness dangerous driving.
The speed limit drops from 80 to 60 on the new carriageway when travelling from the east.
I believe the speed sign should be larger and more signs should be erected until the 70 zone begins at the Bunnings traffic lights.
Locals should be aware of the speed zones, but tourists and those only passing through Bathurst occasionally could miss the signs or be confused with the speed zones changing.
However, many locals who should be more aware do not heed the signs and this is often when and where idiotic behaviour occurs.
