The next Macquarie Care Centre Auxiliary meeting will be held in the chapel at Macquarie Care Centre, Gormans Hill Road at 2pm on Wednesday, February 21. The 41st Annual Sofala Show will be held on Sunday, February 25 and items are invited for the collectables competition. The Sofala Show is a fantastic family outing and pavilions are likely to be overflowing again with items like collectables, produce, art, photography, wool and much more. There will also be kids’ attractions.
Central West Women’s Health Centre will host two new sessions about body image, both presented by the Butterfly Foundation. Great Expectations (for girls 14 to 18 years), aiming to build resilience, will be held on Wednesday, March 7 from 4pm-5.30pm. Body Confident Children and Teens, for parents, carers and community members, will be held on Wednesday, March 7 from 6pm-7.30pm. The cost will be $10 (refreshments available from 5.30pm).
