Bathurst Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest from community organisations and individuals seeking funding from council to be included in the 2018/2019 budget. Funding is available for the period July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. To apply, submit an application form, which is available on council’s website or from the Civic Centre at 158 Russell Street, by 4pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.

Thursday, February 15
Bathurst District Historical Society Monthly Muster will be held with Keith Painter, renowned researcher and writer. He will talk about the history and mystique behind Hassans Walls. Hassans Walls once boasted a convict stockade, a base where convicts lived while constructing sections of Surveyor Mitchell’s Road 4 south of Lithgow. Monthly Musters are held in the Uniting Church Activities Hall (between the church and the 1837 hall) in William Street, opposite Machattie Park.
Out of the Dark: A Family Violence Support Program for Women will be held at the Central West Women’s Health Centre over six Thursdays from February 15 from 10.30am-1pm. To apply, phone CWWHC reception on 6331 4133 or email information@cwwhc.org.au.
