Ash Wednesday mass times: 9am Assumption School at Assumption Church; 9.30am Holy Family School at the school; 11am St Philomena’s School at the school; noon Cathedral School at the Cathedral and 5.45pm mass at the Cathedral.

Bathurst District Historical Society Monthly Muster will be held with Keith Painter. The renowned researcher and writer will talk about Hassans Walls. The Monthly Musters are held in the Uniting Church Hall in William Street at 7.30pm. Call Alan McRae, 6331 5404.

Twenty-four Hours with the Lord will be held from Friday, February 16 at 6.15pm to Saturday, February 17, including Benediction on Saturday at 5.30pm and concluding with the Vigil Mass at 6pm. Rosters are available in the foyers of the Cathedral and Assumption churches to sign up.
