Price has been given a seat in the Team Tritton #87 Mitsubishi Motors entry in the new SuperUtes series for the Adelaide 500 and will contest other rounds as his rally schedule permits.
It means he is a chance of tackling the iconic Bathurst circuit when the series conducts a round at Mount Panorama in October.
“I’m really looking forward to putting in the work, learning more about circuit racing and having some exciting weekends,” Price said.
“It's going to be a good time and I'm aiming to keep it on four wheels and get some good results.
“I'm stoked to be a part of the Team Triton SuperUte campaign.”
Price has taken part in pre-season testing which should help when it comes to the March 1-4 Adelaide opener.
