BMEC launched its monthly band nights on February 2 with local duo Smith & Jones and those who attended had a wonderful night of food, wine and song.

The next band night, featuring Tony Robinson and band on Friday, March 2, promises to be equally as fabulous.
A singer songwriter, Tony came to the Central West in the early ’90s after working the inner city circuit and continues to work throughout the region and beyond.
Tony’s style is described as blues folk with jazz influences and now, after a two-year collaboration with Turkish musicians in Istanbul, he returns to BMEC with LEAP performer Georgia Sonter as the support act for this event.
Taylor and King
ON Saturday, February 17 at 8pm The Songs of James Taylor & Carole King will be performed at BMEC.
Showcasing the music of two of the biggest selling artists of all time, a seven-piece band will faithfully reproduce these timeless hits.
And on Sunday, February 18 at 2pm, Stephen Sondheim’s musical Follies will be screened at BMEC as the first of many National Theatre Live Screenings to look out for in 2018.

March music
AND music continues to be a theme throughout March.
On Friday, March 9, BMEC audiences can experience Johnny Cash The Concert.
Award-winning and highly acclaimed Australian country singer Daniel Thompson and Golden Guitar winning, Telecaster picking, Australian country music legend Stuie French, along with their powerhouse backing band, The Tennessee Express are excited to bring you Johnny Cash The Concert - Revisits Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison.
On Thursday, March 29, the BMEC monthly band Night welcomes The Orient Royal Mail Band and Def Yeti.
Both of these bands are local and have been hits with The Inland Sea of Sound Festival audiences.
They are sure to have the audiences up and dancing. Look out for more artists announcements for BMEC’s monthly band nights.
