It was a competitive first half, with Mariners taking a 1-0 lead into the half-time break before the flood gates opened in the second half at Sid Kallis Oval.
Coach Andrew Fearnley said his side was in a better physical condition, after a 5-2 loss to South Coast Flame on February 4.
“It’s good to see some improvement from the team,” he said.
“I’m happy with where the team is at and they’re doing well.
“We’ve been building well in the off-season and the improvement I’ve seen has been pleasing.”
The game was played in Cowra to help assist Wanderers with its big trip from Wagga Wagga.
Mariners will play one last pre-season game on March 4 against NSW State League side Weston Condors, before kick-starting its National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s 3 campaign against defending champions Fraser Park in Lithgow.
