Falling on Saturday, Glyn Daunt, owner of Jack Duggan’s Irish Pub, said he expects hundreds to turn out and celebrate.
“It’s going to be our biggest day ever, falling on a Saturday with glorious weather, what more could you ask for,” he said.
The Irish Pub is kicking off festivities early beginning with breakfast at 10am followed by lunch time entertainment from 12.30, and live entertainment until late.
And while St Patrick’s Day may be Ireland’s favourite holiday, but Mr Daunt said it is widely embraced by Australians, and he is expecting to see a sea of shamrocks and the colour green in the pub on Saturday.
“People always dress up, wearing anything green they can find,” he said.
As part of the celebrations there will be Magners Cider and Guinness promotions and giveaways as well.
