Ms Hartnett was driving a car in near Brisbane in mid February while on a family holiday when it collided with a car travelling in the opposite direction.
The impact left her with horrific injuries and she has remained in the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital ever since.
A Go Fund Me page has so far raised $10,933 to assist Ms Hartnett with medical expenses and living costs for her partner Craig Adams to remain by her side in Brisbane while she is in hospital.
Also, the Bathurst City Red Tops soccer club, of which Tasha’s sister Chey-anne was a former player, organised weekly raffles at the Kelso Hotel which have run the past few weeks.
So far, the raffles have raised more than $1200, with the final raffle to be held this Saturday night from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
It is hoped that Ms Hartnett may be transferred to Bathurst Hospital this week and her family are waiting on news of which day this will occur.
“She’s doing so well, she’s really positive,” Ms Hartnett’s mother-in-law Maureen Adams said. “She’s still here and it could have been a lot worse, she’s really lucky.”
Ms Adams praised the community for its support in fundraising efforts and offers of assistance when Ms Hartnett returns to Bathurst.
“A lot of people have offered help in any way and I really appreciate it,” she said.
“It’s really amazing to see how the community has banded together.”
