Overall honours in the sprint race – a 500 metres swim, 18km cycle and 4km run – belonged to Orange star Jack Bilton (54.33).
But Bathurst’s Steve Jackson placed third outright and first in his 60-69 years age group with a 58.53.
Tom Hanrahan (1:00.26) ranked fourth outright and first in the 20-29 years male division while young talent Mitch Nelson (1:03.16) was the second under 19 triathlete to cover the distance and had the second fastest split for the swim - an 8.15 – of the 47 competitors.
Danielle Patterson (1:12.31) was the ninth fastest female.
