At 9am on Monday morning, only a handful of tickets remained for Carl Barron’s two shows at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre next Tuesday and Wednesday.
By the late hours of Monday afternoon, the last remaining ticket was snapped up meaning all of Barron gigs in the Central West have all sold out.
Barron, who’s comedic style is based on observational humour, will be in Dubbo on Saturday and Sunday, head to Bathurst next week and cap of his trip to the Central West by performing twice at the Orange Civic Centre on April 10 and 11.
His gigs are a part of his Drinking With A Fork tour.
Barron has been described as one of Australia’s greatest comedic minds and made more than 300,000 Australians laugh on his last national tour.
For those who are lucky enough to be going, Parade included, be prepared for a night full of excellent stand-up and a bit of guitar.
Barron is currently fresh off a US tour and an appearance at the Just For Laughs Festival in the Canadian city of Montreal.
He has previously performed at Bathurst, with the show appearing on his DVD Carl Barron: LIVE.
Bring on the colder weather
If you know Parade well enough, you know he’s a bit of a wuss when it comes to the heat.
The colder months are the best time of year for Parade, as he just cannot stand the heat, burn and sweat.
After the past few days of warm weather, winter cannot come any faster.
