When the APWG made their way to the city in October their show was well received, and it’s only taken a matter of months to get them to make a return trip to Bathurst.
The family friendly night is set to feature a host of exciting championship matches and debut performances.
Bathurst’s own Matt Theo will be challenging for the APWG Championship Shield against reigning champion Kasai in the main event.
Roswell and Josh Gatt’s clash is set to be one of the night’s highlight events.
Theo said it’s great to see wrestling gaining a strong following not just in Bathurst but across Australia.
“You can see it all across the state. There’s been a lot of growth of the last 12 to 18 months,” he said.
“I think it comes down to talent exposure. We’ve had some guys head overseas to do stuff with WWE … but we’ve also had independent promotions here where we’ve got people from overseas here and put our local talent up against them.
“We’ll have around four or five Bathurst guys in action on Saturday.”
The night includes a women’s match between Azalea and Alyna.
Bathurst Panthers spectators will also bear witness to the debut performance of Mr Christmas and Jorg Wolfgang.
Doors open at 6.30pm with the show set to start at 7pm.
Tickets are $15 or four for $40 and are available at the door.
