This year I will be taking you through the eight-week 7POINT5 personal training program in preparation for the Edgell Jog on Sunday, September 23.
The Edgell Jog is an opportunity to participate in a great community event as well as doing something positive for your health.
The aim of this program is to get you ready to take on the Edgell Jog with effort, energy and enthusiasm.
It will be fun-packed, full of energy and have you raring to go.

Before starting, if you have any health concerns, feel unwell or if you have been inactive recently, be sure to consult with your doctor prior to commencing the program.
Each week I’ll give some tips and general health and nutrition guidance to help make your training more effective.
We will also show you how to use the treadmills in the gym if you prefer to train indoors.
There are some great programs on the treadmills which simulate the flats and hills of the course.
Every fortnight there will be a new program released each including three different sessions with different styles of training.
Pick up a program from Cityfit today to see the full eight-week outline – it’s free!
Beginning this week, our first starting distance for the program is three kilometres.
Don’t be put off by this; it’s been designed for all ages and fitness abilities.
From here, we will slowly increase our distance as the weeks go on.
Good luck, I know you’ll do great!
