With the scores locked at 1-all at half-time and for most of the second-half, ’75 pulled ahead to lead 3-1, late in the game.
But Collegians weren’t going to give up without a fight and after pulling one back, it set up a grand stand finish.
Collegians had a massive opportunity to equalise at 3-all but the ball went across the goal and no one was able to tap it home, meaning ’75 held on to win 3-2.
It wasn’t the only success ’75 had on the day, with the club’s under 14s side winning its grand final on Saturday, after taking care of CYMS Green 3-1.
Macquarie United were crowned premiers in the under 15s, after they defeated Eglinton 2-0.
The under 16s grand final, played in Orange, was won by Waratah Wanderers, who defeated Ex-Services Panthers.
