So impressive was Miller’s efforts at the 2018 UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships in Maniago, Italy, that she made the Australian Cycling Team’s list of top moments for the year.
Miller, a trailblazer of the women’s H1 handcycle category, won gold in both the time trial and road race at the world titles.
She averaged just under 14km/hr in both her events, clocking 58 minutes, 15.25 seconds for the 13.6 kilometre time trial and one hour, 46 seconds for the 27.2km road race.
“Stoked to make it into the Cycling Australia year in review,” Miller posted on Instagram after her effort was one of 12 moments which made the cut.
“I was lucky enough to race in Italy with the Aussie team and win two rainbow jerseys, which is something I never saw myself doing.”
