Although one of the three stars pulled out at the last minute, the event managed to draw a crowd of close to 400 people.
Oxford Hotel entertainment manager Adam Soar said the event was well received despite the initial setback.
"It was a new experience for the venue, and people responded really well to the event," Mr Soar said.
"Billy [Vincent] and Elizabeth [Sobinoff] had an amazing time, and it was gratifying to see so many members of the community embrace their appearance."
The stars attended a meet and greet dinner at B Town BBQ before joining in on regular nightclub festivities.
Mr Soar said there were responses to the event that provided a clear indication of how much the show means to certain people.
"There was a couple of people who broke down into tears when they met Elizabeth," he said.
"One individual in attendance said Married at First Sight helped him get through a rough divorce, and if there's a few people who look back on the event with fond memories, then I've done my job."
Mr Soar said the event was a positive learning curve for the venue, and hopes to attract personalities of a higher profile in the coming months.
"We're going to be flat out from August onwards, and there's a host of acts on the agenda we're looking forward to announcing," he said.
"Nightlife is constantly changing in the Central West, and we're looking to cater our events for a wide range of audiences."
