Kelly Anne Stewart, 39, of Fish Parade, Gormans Hill, was charged by police with obstructing or hindering a person executing a warrant after an incident in February.
Police facts handed to the court told how police executed a search warrant, issued at Lithgow Court House for a property in Fish Parade, on Tuesday, February 19.
Stewart, who was the primary resident, was spoken to when police arrived outside the residence.
While police were speaking with Stewart, a number of people came out of the house and approached officers, according to the police facts.
While police explained the powers they were entitled to exercise during the execution of the search warrant, the occupants became increasingly abusive and uncooperative, according to the police facts.
Police explained to Stewart that under the authority of the search warrant, they intended to seize her vehicle, which was parked in the driveway.
Stewart and a man at the scene strongly objected to police seizing the car, according to the police facts.
Stewart handed the keys to the man, who threw them across the road on to another property. He told police to go and find the keys and became increasingly abusive towards officers.
He was arrested for obstructing the search warrant, resisted police and was handcuffed.
While police were leading the man to a nearby police vehicle, Stewart approached the arresting police and yelled: "You're [expletive] breaking his legs you [expletive]."
As police stood between Stewart and the man, Stewart was warned twice, but moved towards the arresting police, according to the police facts.
She was pushed away to prevent the interference of the arrest of the other man.
Stewart was placed under arrest by police at the scene and charged with hindering a police investigation.
