Throughout the week, on and off-campus students will participate in a range of introductory activities designed to help them build familiarity with CSU's culture and the wider Bathurst community.
CSU Bathurst orientation co-ordinator Tegan Taylor said the activities are designed to ensure everyone feels included.
"Through course introductions, comedy events, trivia nights and a scavenger hunt, we want to ensure first year students have a smooth transition into a university lifestyle," Ms Taylor said.
"We've heard a lot of positive feedback from the Residence Life team and parents on how well the students were welcomed over the weekend."
A total of 8198 students are set to commence study through CSU's six major regional locations in 2020, including 2896 on-campus and 5302 online.
CSU deputy vice-chancellor Jenny Roberts said the program of orientation events is designed to reflect the changing nature of the on-campus experience.
"The orientation days will provide a cohesive and streamlined experience for our commencing students, with a focus on course-based activities and core information," Ms Roberts said.
"CSU looks forward to welcoming these students and helping them start their studies on the right foot."
Orientation will run until Friday, February 28.
