CHANGED traffic conditions will be in place at Meadow Flat on the Great Western Highway from next Tuesday as crews work to remove trees that shade the road and increase the risk of black ice in winter.

The work will include removing trees at two sections of the highway, east of Bathurst.
Work will be carried out by Transport for NSW from 7am-6pm weekdays and is expected to take two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Traffic control and a reduced speed limit may be in place as required for the safety of motorists and workers.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
