* Direct flights from New Zealand into Melbourne will resume on Monday, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says.
* Victoria has gone a week without coronavirus deaths or new cases - the first time since February the state has had such a streak.
* Mr Andrews says Victorians will have a better idea which restrictions might be eased throughout this month when he announces roadmap changes on Sunday.

* The change removes the need for people travelling south from NSW to quarantine.
* Annastacia Palaszczuk says Queensland could open to Victoria before Christmas if the southern state keeps a lid on COVID-19.
* The Queensland premier says Victoria is doing well after a week without virus deaths or new cases and if the progress continues, the border could re-open before December 25.
* Queensland recorded no new cases of COVID-19 with just eight active cases on Friday.
* Western Australia and South Australia both recorded one new case each relating to returned overseas travellers in hotel quarantine.

* The national death toll is 907: Victoria 819, NSW 55, Tasmania 13, WA 9, Queensland 6, SA 4, ACT 3. (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states.)
