A Grade was a normal aggressive race with a number of cyclists attacking
the field in search of a solo victory. Mark Windsor, Kane Brennan, Dean Windsor and Andrew Carter all had good leads on the pack at different stages during the race but with 3kms to go the field came together for the finish, mainly due to some hard chasing from Lithgow's Michael Coates and strong riding Rob Stephen. At the finish in form 15-year-old Dean Windsor attacked and scored a clear victory, Orange's Mark Chapman also jumped clear and looked to have second till Kane Brennan flashed home, pushing Chapman to third, just in front of Andrew Carter.
B Grade came down to a bunch sprint, with the very quick Chris Robb again taking the win, in front of rising star Mitch Chapman of Orange. Third going to current Western NSW cyclist premiership winner Tony Hogan in a photo finish with Megan Windsor.
After a very fast start in C Grade there was only three riders left in the leading pack at the finish, the win going to Jeff Hill in front of son Jeremy and Blair Windsor taking 3rd.
The Club also conducted a full program of track racing on Friday night with Kane Brennan the most consistant rider in A Grade while B Grade was won by Nigel Swan.
Brett Foran and Chris Cady had two wins each in the juniors, with the minor placings going to Aaron Hill and Cruz Conroy.
There was plenty of action in the midgets with a boys and girl category contested. The girls scratch race winner wqs Ashley Coates in front of Emily Warren, while Amy Graham was the most successful rider in the handicaps. The boys scratch race was won by Harrison Conroy from Dylon Graham, with Micahel and Les Ovington the starts in the handicaps.
