A MAN who allegedly escaped from Bathurst Correctional Centre yesterday was found by police on the Mid Western Highway.

The 23 year old was noticed missing about 10.48am yesterday and police were notified.
Within the hour the escapee was located on the Mid Western Highway and arrested.
He was charged in relation to escaping lawful custody and will appear at Bathurst Local Court today.
