Your new company
Your new company is a medium sized Architectural and Interior Design practice with extensive history and experience in a wide range of projects, that includes Education, Commercial, Hospitality and Corporate projects.

My client ha a huge commitment to developing innovative and unique solutions for individual clients and projects which has resulted in work on a diverse body of work across multiple sectors in communities throughout Australia.

The directors of this firm lead a team of both experienced and emerging young architects, providing a great career journey at every stage of their architectural journey with the ability to work across different stages and be exposed to different sectors and design solutions - this, makes this firm such a great place to work, and now with expansion to happen in 2022, we are looking for more than 2 Architects.

Your new role
You will be given the autonomy and ownership to run your own project, to help in coordination, detailing and construction of some Public Space Architecture and Commercial Projects.

You will need to be proficient in Revit, and will be able to lead the façade package on a phenomenal project but long term we’d like for you to be a project leader in design & delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A minimum of 5 years’ up to 10+ years experience in the coordination, detailing and construction;
  • Degree in Architecture or similar;
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate design requirements with the documented built form;
  • Contract Admin experience is a bonus but not mandatory;
  • The ability to understand and formulate design decisions relevant to the documentation package and present for discussion;
  • The ability to use the following: REVIT (primary documentation software), Autocad, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel;
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise tasks in order to deliver work to often tight deadlines;
  • A proactive approach and keenness to show initiative and take responsibility for tasks;
  • Great interpersonal skills and the capability to continue working efficiently when under pressure;
  • An aptitude for building good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
